Dark purple color with red highlights.

Taste:

• Late red and black fruits (plum, sour cherry, fig)
• Sweet spices (clove, vanilla)
• Herbalism (Black Tea)

General characteristics:

Full body that results from staying on the fine lees for at least 12 months. Velvety texture, with the sense of vanilla dominating due to the chemical process of malolactic fermentation, round and velvety tannins and a long aftertaste.

Ideal match:

With grilled beef and pork highlighting the spicy character of the wine as well as Danish for raw cuts of beef such as tartare.
